Energy costs are on the rise. The move to be green and sustainable is now the norm rather than the exception. This one day workshop on effective energy management for technical and non-technical facility professionals will introduce fundamental energy management strategies and provide the base knowledge and tools needed to develop and start implementing an effective energy management program that can improve energy performance, reduce energy costs, and improve the business bottom line.

Paul Wingco, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP), has over thirty years of combined experience in facilities operations and energy management. He began his career as a control specialist in the US Air Force and has been active in the field of building energy management systems, mechanical and engineering services, central plant operations, utility metering, energy management and sustainable operations in the higher education environment for the last twenty years. He currently serves as Energy and Sustainability Manager for California State University, Long Beach and is actively involved in sustainability policy development and implementation at CSULB. Paul earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in construction engineering from CSULB and has a Masters in Business Administration from Vanguard University of Southern California. Paul is a registered instructor with the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program. He is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers and is a LEED accredited professional with the US Green Building Council.
