With the holidays fast approaching, we all know the amount of waste that is created from gift wrapping alone. So we're ending the year with a fun lesson on up-cycling! Due to all the holiday festivities, we will have our December event early this year. Join us on December 4th as we learn the art of reuse for the holidays. After hearing from organizations working on this important topic, we'll learn simple tips to adopt a reuse mindset and ways of reusing, borrowing, sharing, instead of buying new - and the impact it has on the earth. Joan Green, owner of Green Art Labs, will lead us through gift making with reusable materials provided by the studio. No art experience necessary and you can take home your creations! Because we will be in an art studio, this month's event is also BYOB.
