  • Friday, May 17, 2019
  • 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • SDGE Energy Innovation Center, 4760 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92117

Overview

This one-day primer on energy-efficiency strategies is intended for building professionals familiar with the basic concepts and who want an update on new and emerging technologies and controls. Class will address a wide range of opportunities that can be applied to most commercial facilities and build from no- and low-cost opportunities to deep energy retrofits. Class will also include modules on utility incentives, financial return calculations, interactive measures, incremental cost opportunities, and operations and maintenance considerations. While all strategies presented will be relevant to existing buildings, these same approaches could be applied to new building designs as well.

Objectives

  • Updates on new and emerging technologies and controls
  • No- and low-cost opportunities to deep energy retrofits
  • Learn more about utility incentives, financial return calculations, and much more
