Trade Professional Lunch & Learn Series: Navigating Energy Efficiency Business Incentive, Rebates and OBF

The goal of this training is to provide you with the knowledge and expertise to submit your first project with ease and remove potential delays in processing your project. This Lunch & Learn course provides detailed instructions for participating in SDG&E's Energy Efficiency Business Incentives (EEBI) program, Energy Efficiency Business Rebates (EEBR) program and On Bill Financing (OBF) program.

  • EEBI; learn the 12-step process to participate and the importance of the 2017 Custom Manual. See how to submit a completed application package, including OBF. Attendees will receive guidance, from defining the project cost and annual energy usage for new and existing equipment, through submitting the final Installation Report.
  • EEBR; get an in-depth look at program requirements, the application process, and step-by-step instructions on completing the rebate application for EEBR. The course will also confirm available rebates and identify measures requiring a reservation up front. You will learn how to navigate your way through the online application tool. In addition, we’ll also review best practices to ensure program compliance. 

On-Bill Financing (OBF) program: 

Every eligible business can receive 0% financing and pay for qualifying energy-efficient business improvements through their SDG&E bill. Get details on filling out and submitting a complete application package. Find out how you can leverage this program to add value to the services you provide to your customers
