North County San Diego  business owners are invited to find out how energy efficiency upgrades can reduce utility costs while also better preparing their businesses for unexpected or planned power outages. The San Diego Regional Green Business Network’s panel of experts will explain how your business can benefit from energy upgrades and participate in money-saving incentive and rebate programs.

The workshop will provide an overview of energy efficiency for businesses, including how to navigate from energy audits to upgrading equipment. Utility representatives will discuss the programs and tools SDG&E has available to help you better manage your utility costs and prepare for unexpected power outages. You will also learn how battery energy storage can provide your business with energy resilience, as well as available rebates.

A special guest speaker from Dr. Bronner’s, a San Diego Green Business Network member, will discuss how they were able to implement sustainability measures, such as LED lighting, EV charging infrastructure and a solar energy system, to offset about 50% of their monthly electricity use.
