Are you aware of SDG&E's various energy-efficiency programs and financing options that are available to your business customers? In this course you'll get an overview of the tools available for business energy efficiency projects and ways to finance them. Learn how to leverage your knowledge to better serve your business customers while our experts walks you through the Energy Efficiency Business Incentives, Energy Efficiency Business Rebates, Demand Response programs and On-Bill Financing. Hear from third-party experts about the Small Business Financing (SBF) program for energy-efficiency upgrades.

Who Should Attend:

This course is recommended for business customers and Trade Professionals who are new to energy efficiency and the Business Rebates program or for those with experience seeking a refresher.

  • Efficiency Business Rebates for installing energy-efficiency equipment improvements
  • Energy Efficiency Business Incentives for retrofitting existing or installing new high-efficiency equipment to save energy
  • On-Bill Financing for qualifying energy-efficient business improvements with no interest
  • How the Small Business Financing (SBF) program compliments On-Bill Financing
  • Learn about SBF's option to include non-energy efficiency measures, no bill neutrality or 5-year payback requirement
  • Demand Response programs to earn incentives for reducing energy use on peak days when electricity is high demand

As the Small Business Financing (SBF) program administrators, the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) collaborates with SDG&E, the state and other Investor Owned Utilities to oversee the SBF program application and enrollment process. CAEATFA staff will be discussing program participation and available to answer attendee questions.
