In this introductory level seminar you will learn the basic concepts of Demand Response and Automated Demand Response (ADR), emphasizing when and why you should call an ADR. Discussion will include the life cycle of an ADR project. After taking this course, you will have a fundamental understanding of San Diego Gas & Electric’s Technology Incentives (TI) program and how to prepare projects for program success.

Dennis Rowan is highly experienced in the Demand Response area installing or verifying more than a thousand ADR systems across the state. His experience spans a broad range of manufacturers, and he has developed a unique understanding of the various ADR systems. Dennis has also worked directly with ADR Program Managers at all three of California’s Investor Owned Utilities (IOU) providing program development and training to staff and customers.

David Pruitt has 17 years of experience in energy efficiency serving both private clients and the Investor Owned Utilities in California (PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E).  David has completed energy audits for these utilities in the Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Institutional sectors.
